Subaru WRX Interior

The WRX offers seating for five in a four-door sedan style. The seats are heavily cushioned and supportive for exhilarating cruises and long-distance trips. All passengers have ample headroom and legroom, as well as excellent visibility of the road ahead. Cloth seats are standard, but you can upgrade to leather upholstery, heated seats, Recaro® front sport seats, automatic climate control, and a moonroof.

The trunk of the WRX offers 12 cubic feet of space, which is more than enough for luggage or golf clubs. The 60/40-split-folding rear seats lay flat for additional storage space for long or awkward cargo. The cabin has numerous small-item storage spots for passengers to stow their personal belongings.

Subaru WRX Performance

The WRX comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat 4-cylinder engine that makes 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine mates to a 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. A continuously variable transmission is optional. The optional STI model comes with a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four that makes 310 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, which pairs to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Regardless of the engine you choose, the WRX still rides like a sport sedan and boasts responsive, tight steering and an excellent suspension that soaks up road imperfections. The all-wheel-drive system is capable in inclement weather and on unmaintained roads, making the WRX a great choice for all seasons.

Subaru WRX Technology and Safety

The WRX offers a range of safety features. You can add lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, a set of features that alert you if you drift from your lane and apply steering corrections to guide you back. Adaptive headlights and blind-spot monitoring are also available. Forward and reverse collision warning and automatic emergency braking are on the offer, which alert you to possible crashes and apply the brakes automatically.

The SUBARU STARLINK® infotainment system is standard, giving you endless options for on-the-go entertainment and information. The system features simple menus, a sharp touch screen, and a combination of touch inputs and physical knobs and buttons for ease of use. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration come standard, so you can stream music and other media from your phone. A 6.5-inch touchscreen and satellite radio are included, but you can upgrade to navigation, a 7-inch touchscreen, and a Harman Kardon® sound system.
